meh i opened it 75 times last night after buying 150k of keys... got 3/4 regular tomes/sweets/liquor, but also an elite para tome, a q11 stygian reaver, and a q9 GoTH... so not bad

so pretty much as was said in the OP, the price of things are going to drop below 100k, if this happens who will benefit and will it just annoy players that wanted to have something to aim for?

I really dig the chest, I play with PvP once in a while, mostly AB since I find it fun to earn something other than titles (although that is fun too) for my accomplishments. That being skills, Jade, whatever. Now I can use my Balth faction I get from it to grab some cool stuff, get some sweets, and get drunk like I normally am in real life! Whooo!

BTW, I am actually being serious, I really like the chest, Once I roll through the whole ridiculous bonus 10 day event for Gwen, I might roll around to some PvP again.

Oh, and I don't give a damn about the economy, and I have found that my in-game life is quite blissful when I play.

Actually, i wish you could exchange tournament tokens for keys. All this time i have been buying tokens cause there was nothing else to spend faction on. Can i swap em for 1.000+ keys please?

People that want to get their items out of area or mission quests can still get them that way this is not hindering them that AIM at all. It's people who don't want anyone else to get these items except by the way THEY DO that have issues of being selfish.

Anet has just opened another door for casual players who couldn't get to these types of items before. So, now a player has a CHOICE to get them the old fashioned way or to get them from PVP faction points. I wish I had all the faction points back I've spent on useless skills I don't need just to clear my faction bank. Now I actually have something worthy to spend them on. I had asked for this feature over two years ago, something else to spend our Balth faction for besides skills. I asked it to even be for gold and now it sort of is, cause I can sell those keys for 3k-5k right now easily.
